Philanthropy | Tulalip Tribes

Our people have always valued the idea that our community is stronger when we provide for the benefit of all.

That tradition of giving carries on today.

While we are required by our gaming compact to donate 1.5 percent of the net proceeds from our casinos, that contribution does not represent the total Tribal outlay to charitable causes. In Tulalip, it is traditional to “raise our hands” to applaud and give thanks to those who have given to us. We “raise our hands” to the numerous organizations that strengthen communities across the state.

A small selection of our honored recipients from 2016:

  • Children’s Music Foundation Inc.
  • University of Puget Sound
  • Amy’s Place
  • Books to Prisoners
  • Everett Police and Fire Chaplaincy
  • Rainier Valley Corps
  • The American Red Cross
  • Burlington-Edison School District
  • Food Lifeline
  • MOHAI
  • Richard Hugo House
  • Washington Women in Need
